23rd All India Major Port Cultural Meet commenced with 10 Major Ports at Jayadev Sadan. Shri P.L. Haranadh, Chairman Paradip Port inaugurated the event. Teams will perform in Drama, Dance Choreography, Classical & Light Vocal and instrumental. The meet ends on 10th December.
Paradip Port Authority along with Major Ports Sports Control Board is organising 23rd All India Major Port Cultural Meet 2023-24 at Jayadev Sadan. Gracing the inaugural function as Chief Guest, Shri P.L. Haranadh, Chairman, PPA inaugurated the cultural extravaganza and said that the Cultural Meet has provided an opportunity for congregation of diversity of the Country in the Paradip Port township. It will enable participants to develop new relationships, enjoy performances and showcase talents.
Guest of Honour, Shri Nilabhra Dasgupta, Dy Chairman, PPA said that during cultural performances, the stage reflect the soul of the society. Smt. P. Girija Sundari, President, Paradip Ladies Club was also present on the occasion. Around 200 participants from 10 Major Ports across the country are participating in the cultural meet, which will come to an end on 10th December. Shri D.N. Sondhi, Chairman, Organising Committee presided over the inaugural proceedings.
Dr. D.P Sethi, Secretary, organising committee also spoke on the occasion. Shri Ranjan Rashmi Beura, Jt. Secretary, organising committee compeered the programme. All the Major Ports are competing in categories like Classical Vocal, Light Vocal, Instrumental, Dance and Drama. This evening, inaugural performance will be made by Visakhapatnam Port Authority followed by DPA, Kandla.
