SBI Bhubaneswar Circle observes Vigilance Awareness Week

swa news : State Bank of India, Bhubaneswar Circle is observing “Vigilance Awareness Week” (VAW) from 28.10.2024 to 03.11.2024 under the guidance of Central Vigilance Commission. The theme for this year is “Culture of Integrity for Nation’s Prosperity”.

The week commenced with trilingual integrity pledge at 11 AM on 28.10.2024 by all staff members in Branches and Offices of Bhubaneswar Circle. At Local Head Office integrity pledge was administered by Shri Amara Ramamohan Rao, Deputy Managing Director (DMD) and CRO, Corporate Centre, Mumbai and Shri Dinesh Pruthi, Chief General Manager Bhubaneswar Circle. . A Sand-art, featuring the theme of ‘VAW’, created by a world renowned sand-artist Shri Subala Maharana , was inaugurated by Shri Rao and Shri Pruthi in front of the LHO premises. As a part of “Vigilance Awareness Week”, the Bank has organised various activities like Capacity Building Programme/Elocution/Drawing/Essay/Online Quiz competitions among the staff members as well as students of different schools. On Tuesday, Shri Yeshwant Kumar Jethwa, IPS, Director, Vigilance,GovernmentofOdisha graced the program organised at LHO premises and delivered comments on financial vigilance practices and awareness issues.
