SBI OBSERVED CHILDREN’S DAY & WORLD DIABETES DAY

Bhubaneswar: SBI Local Head Office Bhubaneswar Circle has observed Children’s day and World Diabetes Day by organising various indoor and outdoor activities. On 14^th November 2023, a Health Check-up camp was organised in association with Institute of Gastro & Kidney Care Hospital Bhubaneswar at Local Head Office Premises. Nearly 100 staffs and officials actively participated in the health check-up event. While inaugurating the camp, Chief General Manager Shri Chander Shekhar Sharma advised staff to take all possible precautions including physical exercise and balanced diet to avoid diabetes and remain stress free.

Under Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives, SBI has supported essential items like furniture, play equipments, ceiling fans and computers for the students of Maharishi Vidya Mandir (MVM), Bhubaneswar.  In an event organised at MVM, DGM & CDO SBI Bhubaneswar Circle Shri Manoj Kumar Singh addressed the future generation about importance of hygiene in daily life and donated reusable sanitary pads to girl students of the school. Assistant General Manager (Marketing & Communication) Shri Amaresh Das and other staff members from SBI and MVM Bhubaneswar were also present in the event.
