OLIC Meeting and Rajbhasha Felicitation held at SBI, Local Head Office, Bhubaneswar

Official language Implementation Committee meeting and Annual Rajbhasha performance felicitation ceremony was held at State bank of India, Local Head Office, Bhubaneshwar on Wednesday afternoon under the chairmanship of Chief General Manager Shri Chandra Shekhar Sharma.  General Manager Network-1, Shri M. Ponnambalam, General Manager Network-2 Shri Uttam Kumar Hazra Chaudhary, Deputy General Manager and Circle Development Officer, Shri Manoj Kumar Singh, all Deputy General Managers and Department Heads of the office were present on this occasion.

The programme was inaugurated with the welcome address by Deputy General Manager and Circle Development Officer Shri Manoj Kumar Singh. In his welcome address, Shri Singh presented a brief account of the progress of Official Language implementation in Bhubaneshwar circle.  Congratulating everyone, Chief General Manager Shri Sharma said that Hindi is a matter of importance for all of us. He congratulated all the staff members for their hard work and securing the “Narakas Rajbhasha Award” for SBI, which he has received from Union Minister of State for Home Shri Ajay Kumar Mishra during the “3rd All India Official Language Conference” held in Pune in September-2023 and called upon everyone to maintain this momentum. He also congratulated everyone on the successful completion of inspection of SBI LHO by the Parliamentary Committee on Official Languages in the month of November.

On this occasion, the Administrative Office, Berhampur Zone and State Bank Institute of Learning and Development, Bhubaneswar  were awarded with the internal Rajbhasha Shields for the year 2022-23 and the winners and participants of various Hindi competitions held during the Rajbhasha fortnight were also felicitated .

The programme concluded with vote of thanks by   Shri Rajeev Raman, Deputy General Manager (CCO)

Dr. B.B. Gopal Reddy, Assistant General Manager (Official Language) conducted the forum.
