Sambalpur : Congress has nominated Nagendra Pradhan in the Sambalpur Lok Sabha constituency. Shri Pradhan left the party, unhappy with the return of Dulal Chandra Pradhan on the Congress ticket. He is reported to have sent his resignation letter to AICC President Mallikarjun Khadge.
According to the information, the Indian National Congress yesterday announced candidates for 2 Lok Sabha seats and 8 Assembly seats, then the Congress changed its candidates in the Sambalpur parliamentary constituency. Similarly, Baripada and Khadpada assemblies also changed their candidates. Congress general editor KC Benugopal said in a press release that Suresh Mohapatra has been nominated in Cuttack. Similarly, Nagendra Pradhan has been nominated in place of Dulal Chandra Pradhan in Sambalpur Lok Sabha constituency. Pramod Kumar Hembram has been nominated in place of Badal Hembram in Ubaripada and Baijayantimala Mohanty has been nominated in place of Manoj Kumar Pradhan in Khadpada.
