Bhubaneswar, swa news : The KIIT School of Fashion Technology today hosted its much-anticipated annual graduate fashion show, Kirti Kalpana 2025, a celebration of creativity, craftsmanship and the culmination of four years of rigorous training in fashion and textile design.
The event showcased the final collections of graduating students, reflecting their individual design philosophies and the skills they have honed over the years. It was a vibrant platform that blended innovation, culture, and style.
Founder of KIIT and KISS, Prof. Achyuta Samanta, expressed pride in the graduating batch. “I am happy to see our students step out with the KIIT brand behind them. This brand will give you an edge. But beyond success, strive to be good human beings—that is what brings true satisfaction in life,” he advised.
Vice Chancellor of KIIT, Prof. Saranjit Singh, applauded the efforts of the young designers, stating, “Fashion is a statement, and our students are making bold ones. Going forward, we plan to bring in senior industry leaders to witness their talent and explore recruitment opportunities.”


Prof. Himansu Khatua, Director General of the School of Film & Media Sciences and Fashion Technology, announced an exciting new initiative—a permanent gallery dedicated to student creations. “This gallery, envisioned by our founder, will serve as a testament to the creativity and hard work of our students,” he said. “Fashion is not just about clothing. It is about empowerment and cultural expression. I urge our students to embrace this opportunity.”
Gipsita Nayak, Dy. Director of the School of Fashion Technology, led the event, which also saw the formal release of the Kirti Kalpana 2025 brochure.
The show was graced by renowned personalities from the world of film and art including actress Suryamayee Mohapatra, actors Dipanwita Mohapatra, Debasmita Panda, and Nikunj Chaudhury, along with dancer and influencer Arundhuti Gadnayak. Prof. Bauri Raula delivered the vote of thanks.
