State Bank of India Bhubaneswar Circle has observed Swachhata Hi Seva –shramdaan initiatives across Odisha. Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of India has launched Swachhata Hi Seva campaign from 15 September to 2nd October 2023 with the theme Garbage Free India to celebrate 9 years of Swachh Bharat Mission.
Under the initiative, In state capital Bhubaneswar, SBI carried out swachhata activities in 2 locations namely near Unit-1 Hanuman Temple and Mother Public school. More than 150 staffs and general public had actively participated in the event from 10 am to 11 am . Shri Chander Shekhar Sharma, Chief General Manager, SBI Bhubaneswar Circle had participated in the shramdaan event. Other senior officials including General Managers, CDO and DGMs along with other officials of SBI had participated in shramdaan .
